"Excel have just completed our soffit replacement, guttering and recovering two flat roofs. Their team were great, worked really hard, were extremely committed to the job, always courteous with good communication. They worked through until the job was completed with the minimum of mess; on completion the site was left clean and tidy.
We would recommend them without hesitation.

"I have recently passed my test first time with Joe including my theory. He is a friendly, polite but also diligent driving instructor. If there is ever a problem you know that you can always ask Joe and he'll tell you exactly what there is to know in full confidence. One of the main things I noticed about driving is how much of it is about confidence and Joe certainly makes you feel this way when behind the wheel. My eldest sister passed first time with him so it's a 100% record in my family with Joe! Use him and you won't be disappointed !"

  • Refurbishment of church roof

"Excel Roofing have recently completed the refurbishment of the main roofs to Hockliffe Street Baptist Church in Leighton Buzzard. The building is a typical Victorian Baptist church and is120 years old. The nails holding the roofing slates were corroded and slates were in danger of being lost in high winds. Excel have stripped all the slates off the roofs, installed a modern high quality waterproof membrane, new laths and in most areas have replaced the original slates. Some areas of the roof have new slates. Gutters and fascias have also been replaced.
The project required extensive scaffold access and safety was a prime concern. Control of costs was also important to the church for this project. The job has been carried out to the highest standards using best quality materials. The Excel workforce were courteous and helpful throughout. The job has been completed in safety and to budget.
I have no hesitation in recommending Excel for a similar project.

  • Extremely Impressed - Maureen Colson

"I was extremely impressed by you and the members of your team. All were very helpful, polite and hard-working and were thoroughly deserving for the work they did.

Your communication, standard of work and your experience were very much appreciated and it was quite useful to have members of your workforce who could offer their services in other areas, for which I am also grateful.

I would definitely use you again for the best quality of roofing and all other manual services that you offered and would also recommend you to others.

Thank you for all the extra-work put in, such as enabling me to receive my Insurance policy in a way which was most convenient to me.

I would also like to add that the Surveyor who visited on behalf of the roofing insulators commented that he was very impressed with the cleanliness of the loft - something which is very rare.

    Regards

  • Front and Rear Extension, Watford

    "Dear Samy

Thankyou for your excellent construction work on our house extention project. Farrugia Construction has done an excellent job at a very competitive price and you have been a pleasure to work with

The project involved extending our house both front and rear, to create three rooms where there had been one and involved installing large new patio doors, an unusual and complicated trench radiator, new velux skylights, altering the driveway and the front and creating a new patio at the rear. Substantial steel joists replaced the original walls to support the floor above.

We are extremely please to find a builder who takes such pride in the quality of his work and also in going the extra mile to make sure the customer is satisfied.

Getting the team started when you said you would and then keeping going continuously until the job is complete, as you said you would. It has made the whole project much quicker and less stressful than would have been the case with a less well organized builder.

The result had taken our vision and implemented it excellently, you also offered good advice along the way - Your recommended suppliers have been very good.

Having a workforce almost continually in the house over a period of more that two moths can be hard going but you and your team have made it a pleasure. The various craftmen have all been pleasant and almost always remarkably tidy, we have enjoyed having them in the house.

We will not hesitate to recommend Farrugia Construction and will be happy to show the completed extension to any prospective clients who would like to see your finished work

Thankyou for helping to make our home so much more comfortable"

When I first started I had never set foot in a car before, but with Tony's help, guidance, photographed diagrams and clear instruction I now feel comfortable behind the wheel. The car is easy to drive; it handles well and is not hard to manouvre. Tony will tailor your lessons to tackle your individual weaknesses, alowing you to see notable improvements in your driving in a short space of time. It is rare to find someone like Tony, who is both a talented instructor and a genuinely nice guy. I always look forward to my lessons as I know I will leave with a sense of achievement and a smile on my face. • Joe is YOUR driving man!

"Without the help of this amazingly cheerful, helpful, honest, encouraging, organised, patient and fantastic driving instructor I would not be let lose on the road today! Joe does an incredible job of keeping us nervous pupils comfortable, confident and smiling through out every lesson and without this during my very shaky start to driving I would have given up there and then; but with his skills and reassurance he kept me going. He does not give you chance to become down if you mistakes and praises pupils when ever he can, which is the huge boost we need. Joe is always well prepared with lessons and knows exactly what will be happening during that hour and what needs working on. I would recommend Joe Dalaney to ANYONE without a doubt and will miss his lessons very much. "

"If anyone is looking to learn to drive in Hemel Hempstead I would definitely recommend Joe. His lessons were detailed, well structured and safe. Also every time I went onto a new topic Joe would always draw out a diagram of what needed to be done which enabled me to continue learning even when I was not on a lesson, I quite often referred to them while I was driving about in my own car. Joe never cancelled, changed or was late for any of my lessons and if anything he was always early. I will recommend Joe Delaney to anyone who is looking to drive."
